BEHIND THE LENS 

Hi Everyone! My name is Caitlyn Gutierrez, and I founded Dawn Photography in 2025 after I discovered my love for capturing big and small moments with my camera for the people I loved.

I was born and raised in New Braunfels, Texas where I still currently reside. I’m 22 years old and have a beautiful puppy named Sol with my wonderful partner Caleb (I love dogs & incorporating them into your sessions!). I graduated from Texas State University in 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology & double minor in Human Development Family Sciences & Anthropology. I have a full time job as an MHA and do photography on the side. On a personal note I love camping, painting, reading, writing, flowers, and music! I’m a strong follower of Jesus Christ as he is our Lord & savior AMEN! & I wouldn’t be where I am today without his love and guidance.

I have a LOVE for capturing real, raw, genuine, authentic moments. My photography style reflects that as poses come natural & I let you take the lead on what feels comfortable! My favorite style of photos is a film like vintage with soft toned colors. Sharing creativity has been a love of mine since I was little, and I’m passionate about reflecting that through my photography.
